Actually, there weren't many solutions at all. I have installed Microsoft Office Ultimate on Vista Ultimate and after one day, when i simply tried to open a document, it gave me an error saying that Microsoft Whatever word, excel, the same for each one has not been installed for the current user, please run setup and install.

It worked for me. I deleted the MSO. DLL and did repair. Worked perfectly as I wanted. I had the same problem: pirated and installed updates. Such a simple solution it was. I replaced the old MSO. DLL with new one and its working fine now..!! I am using MS on W Working good idea — so think now and make a backup of mso to the location which you want ie. DLL file. Hope it holds out. Oh my god. I had no help with any other forums. This did it for me. I appreciate it.

Though, the only diffrence was the file name bing opa Setting permissions to everyone or deleting this file did not work.
I had microsoft support stumped. We talked for 3 hours and did not get the issue resoved. I'm thinking its time for a format, but I'm trying to avoid it, as I don't have all the discs for all my software on campus with me, some are 3 hours away at home. I did learn this odd thing though. If I turn off user access control the problem goes away.
